Q: Can the infrared thermometer be used on infants?
Yes. The Lollababy Infrared Thermometer can be used to measure babies’ body temperature from 0+ ages. Use the infrared mode for taking forehead temperatures for infants 0-3 months. Use the ear thermometer only for children above than 3 months.
Q: How do infrared (IR) thermometers work?
All objects emit infrared energy. The hotter an object is, the more active its molecules are and the more infrared energy it emits. An infrared thermometer houses optics that collect the radiant infrared energy from the object and focus it onto a detector. The detector converts the energy into an electrical signal, which is amplified and displayed.
Q: What response time can I expect from an IR thermometer?
The response time of IR thermometers is faster than most thermometers – approximately 0.5 seconds.

Q: How do I measure temperature with the forehead thermometer?
- Position the thermometer sensor at the center of the forehead, just above the eyebrow.
- Press and release the HEAD button.The temperature will be displayed on the screen instantly.
Q: How do I measure temperature with the in-ear thermometer?
- Gently snap on the probe cover on top of the thermometer sensor.
- Insert the ear probe into the ear canal.
- Press and release the EAR button. The temperature will be displayed on the screen instantly.
Note:
Children under 1 year: Pull the ear straight back.
Children aged 1 year to adult: Pull the ear up and back.
Q. How do I know that the device is still accurate over time or after being dropped?
The Lollababy Infrared Thermometer performs a function check each time it is turned on. As long as you do not get an error message on the screen, your thermometer should be able to provide accurate readings.
Q. Is the thermometer waterproof?
No. Never immerse the Lollababy thermometer into water or other liquids.

Q: How long will it take to receive the product?
A: It will generally require 3-5 business days from the process of payment for the order online and the delivery. Express orders received before 11 am will be delivered on the same day. Please select your desired delivery option when you are checking out. Normal delivery charges of $10 applies.

Q: Where can I do a self-collection of my order?
A: The self-collection address is 1 Scotts Road, #24-10 Shaw Centre, Singapore 228208, from 11.30 am to 6.30 pm, Mondays to Fridays. Please indicate in your online order form if you choose this method of delivery as there is an additional charge.
Order before 5 pm to collect the next working day, between 11.30 to 6.30 pm, for an additional $5.
